Audi Field: Washington Spirit vs. NC Courage

It was a hot humid match at Audi Field in Washington DC as Ashley Sanchez scored the only (revenge) goal against her former squad. The Spirit front line never quite gelled and despite getting plenty of chances, never got any great shots on goal.

The stadium had a great variety of food, thankfully no plastic bottles for soda as they went for the unlimited refills cups instead. My favorite part of the trip was probably how well the post-game autograph sessions went. They had a designated place, a way to stand in line with items to be signed, while players signed things and returned them to everyone.
